How we started PALETTE CARE...
The Proven Diabetes Prevention
& Weight Loss Program
It became crystal clear that we needed to develop a diabetes prevention platform that combines technology and community engagement--so that is exactly what we did! We partnered with the CDC to develop an easy-to-follow, results-oriented diabetes prevention program based on scientific research. Thus, Palette Care was born!
We started offering our program in our local community, but we didn’t stop there. We also developed technologies to support our successful diabetes prevention program. In addition to group coaching sessions, our participants started using the Palette App and PaletteMat. This enabled coaches to engage, motivate and guide participants with trackable lifestyle data.
In the end, we were able to guide participants to lose weight and reduce their A1C levels. Better yet, the changes that lead to these results were easy for our participants to work into their own lives, giving them the confidence they needed to maintain their health for life. Building on that success, we decided to create a diabetes prevention program that was easily accessible--even for people who live outside of Brooklyn, New York. Now our participants can join our program from anywhere in the country!
